An Act to amend further the Parks Regulation Act 1872.

(1) This Act may be cited as the Parks Regulation (Amendment) Act 1974.

(2) M1,M2The Parks Regulation Act 1872 and the Parks Regulation (Amendment) Act 1926 and this Act may be cited together as the Parks Regulation Acts 1872 to 1974.

The Parks Regulation Act 1872 shall have effect subject to the amendments set out in the Schedule to this Act.

Section 2.

SCHEDULE Amendment of the Parks Regulation Act 1872cross-notes

M3 1 In sections 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 for the words “park-keeper” or “keeper”, there shall be substituted the words “park constable”.

2 After section 3 there shall be inserted the following section:—

3A Attestation of park constables.

Every park constable shall on appointment be attested as a constable by making a declaration before a justice of the peace that he will duly execute the office of constable.

Status: There are currently no known outstanding effects for the Parks Regulation (Amendment) Act 1974.
