The Insolvent Partnerships (Amendment) Order 1996

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 420(1) and (2) of the Insolvency Act 1986( 1 ) and section 21(2) of the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986( 2 ) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, with the concurrence of the Secretary of State, hereby makes the following Order:β€”

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Insolvent Partnerships (Amendment) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 14th June 1996.

Amendment of Article 7

2.Paragraph (1) of article 7 of the Insolvent Partnerships Order 1994( 3 ) shall be amended by the substitution of the words β€œ, of the Secretary of State or of any other person other than a member,” for the words β€œor of the Secretary of State,”.
