The Superannuation (Admission to Schedule 1 to the Superannuation Act 1972) Order 2000

The Minister for the Civil Service, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(5) and (8)(a) of the Superannuation Act 1972( 1 ) and now vested in him( 2 ), hereby makes the following Order:—

Citation, Commencement and interpretation

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Superannuation (Admission to Schedule 1 to the Superannuation Act 1972) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 10th February 2000, but shall have effect, where appropriate, from the dates specified in this Order.

(2) In this Order “the Act” means the Superannuation Act 1972 .

Offices and Employments

2. With effect from 1st April 1999:—

(a) the office of inspector of the Football Licensing Authority is hereby added to the offices listed in Schedule 1 to the Act,

(b) employment by the Football Licensing Authority is hereby added to the employment listed in Schedule 1 to the Act,

(c) employment by the Trustees of the National Heritage Memorial Fund is hereby added to those listed in Schedule 1 to the Act, and

with effect from 20th August 1999:—

(d) employment by the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment is hereby added to those listed in Schedule 1 to the Act, and

(e) employment by the Royal Fine Art Commission is hereby removed from those listed in Schedule 1 to the Act.
