The Railways (Alternative Closure Procedure) (Croydon Tramlink) Order 2000

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraph 5A of Schedule 5 to the Railways Act 1993( 1 ) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Railways (Alternative Closure Procedure) (Croydon Tramlink) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 3rd July 2000.

2. In this Order “Tramlink” has the same meaning as in section 2(1) of the Croydon Tramlink Act 1994 ( 2 ).

3. The Secretary of State hereby designates all services on Tramlink as services in relation to which paragraph 5A of Schedule 5 to the Railways Act 1993 is to apply.
