The BHB Community Health Care, the Forest Healthcare, the Havering Hospitals and the Redbridge Health Care National Health Service Trusts (Dissolution) Order 2000

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977( 1 ) and by section 5(1) of, and paragraph 29(1) of Schedule 2 to, the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990( 2 ) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, considering it appropriate in the interests of the health service to make this Order( 3 ), and after completion of the consultation prescribed under paragraph 29(3) of Schedule 2 to the latter Act( 4 ), hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the BHB Community Health Care, the Forest Healthcare, the Havering Hospitals and the Redbridge Health Care National Health Service Trusts (Dissolution) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 1st April 2001.
Dissolution of NHS trusts
2. —(1) The BHB Community Health Care National Trust Service Trust established by the BHB Community Health Care Trust (Establishment) Order 1992( 5 ) is hereby dissolved, and accordingly that Order is hereby revoked.
(2) The Forest Healthcare National Health Service Trust established by the Forest Healthcare National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1991( 6 ) is hereby dissolved, and accordingly that Order is hereby revoked.
(3) The Havering HospitalsNational Health Service Trust established by the Havering Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992( 7 ) is hereby dissolved, and accordingly that Order is hereby revoked.
(4) The Redbridge Health Care National Health Service Trust established by the Redbridge Health Care National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992( 8 ) is hereby dissolved, and accordingly that Order is hereby revoked.
