The Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 68(3) of the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999( 1 ), the Secretary of State hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2000.

2. The following provisions of the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999 shall come into force on 26th June 2000:

(a) Part I (referrals to youth offender panels) in so far as it is not already in force and Schedule 1;

(b) paragraphs 5 to 9, 11, 20, 23, and 25 to 30 of Schedule 4, and section 67(1) in so far as it refers to them; and

(c) paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 7.
