The Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 (Appointed Day No. 10) Order 2000

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 66(8) and 77(2) and (4) of the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996( 1 ), hereby makes the following Order:

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 (Appointed Day No. 10) Order 2000.

(2) This Order extends to Northern Ireland only.

2. 21st August 2000 is hereby appointed for the purposes of section 66 of the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996.
