The Powers of Attorney (Welsh Language Forms) Order 2000

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 26(2) of the Welsh Language Act 1993( 1 ), makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Powers of Attorney (Welsh Language Forms) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 1st March 2000 immediately after the coming into force of the Trustee Delegation Act 1999( 2 ).

2. The form of words in Part I of the Schedule to this Order may be used instead of that set out in section 25(6) of the Trustee Act 1925( 3 ).

3. The form of words in Part II of the Schedule to this Order may be used instead of that set out in Schedule 1 to the Powers of Attorney Act 1971( 4 ).
