The Immigration (Variation of Leave) (Amendment) Order 2000

2nd October 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 3(3)(a) and 4(1) of the Immigration Act 1971( 1 ), the Secretary of State hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Immigration (Variation of Leave) (Amendment) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 2nd October 2000.

2. In the Immigration (Variation of Leave) Order 1976( 2 ), after paragraph (2)(d) of article 3, there is to be inserted—

“ (e) in a case in which the date of the decision is 2nd October 2000 or later. ” .
