The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977( 1 ) and section 5(1) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990( 2 ) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after completion of the consultation prescribed under section 5(2) of the latter Act( 3 ), hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the East Gloucestershire National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 2000 and shall come into force on 14th October 2000.
Amendment of NHS trust Establishment Order
2. In sub-paragraph (b) of article 3(2) of the East Gloucestershire National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1990( 4 ) (nature and functions of the trust), for the words “Burlington House, Lypiatt Road, Cheltenham GL50 2QN” substitute the words “Trust HQ, Number 1 College Lawn, Cheltenham GL53 7AG”.

1977 c. 49 ; section 126 was amended by section 65(2) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 (c. 19) , by paragraph 57 of Schedule 1 to the Health Authorities Act 1995 (c. 17) (“the 1995 Act”), by section 41(10) and paragraph 27 of Schedule 2 to the National Health Service (Primary Care) Act 1997 (c. 46) and by section 65(1) and paragraph 37 of Schedule 4 to the Health Act 1999 (c. 8) (“the 1999 Act”).
1990 c. 19 ; section 5 was amended by paragraph 69 of Schedule 1 to the 1995 Act and by section 13 of the 1999 Act.
