The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 7(2) of the Carriage by Air and Road Act 1979( 1 ), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

1. This Order may be cited at the Carriage by Air and Road Act 1979 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2000.

2. The provisions of the Carriage by Air and Road Act 1979 which are listed in column (1) of the Schedule to this Order and which relate to the matters respectively specified in relation to those provisions in column (2) thereof shall (to the extent stated in the Schedule) come into force on 12th October 2000.
