In exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 4(2) of the Education Act 1994( 1 ), the Secretary of State for Education and Employment hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Education (Funding for Teacher Training) Designation (No. 3) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 2nd November 2000.

2. The following are hereby designated as institutions eligible for funding under Part I of the Education Act 1994—

(a) The Mathematical Association, a charitable unincorporated association having the registered charity number 313281,

(b) Plymouth City Council, and

(c) Start Education (EM) Limited, a company limited by shares having the registration number 3244584.
