The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 6(6) and (7) of the Museums and Galleries Act 1992( 1 ), and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby orders as follows:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as The Museums and Galleries Act 1992 (Amendment) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 23rd November 2000.

Amendment of Schedule 5 to the Museums and Galleries Act 1992

2. —(1) In Part I of Schedule 5 to the Museums and Galleries Act 1992, after “The Board of Trustees of the Victoria and Albert Museum” there shall be inserted—

(2) In Part II of Schedule 5 to the Museums and Galleries Act 1992( 2 ), after “The Board of Trustees of The National Museums and Galleries of Northern Ireland” there shall be inserted—
