The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 27(1)( 1 ) and 28(1) of the Insurance Brokers (Registration) Act 1977( 2 ) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Insurance Brokers Registration Council (Registration and Enrolment) (Amendment) Rules Approval Order 2000, and shall come into force on 31st December 2000.

2. The Insurance Brokers Registration Council (Registration and Enrolment) (Amendment) Rules 2000 made on 28th November 2000 by the Insurance Brokers Registration Council in exercise of their powers under section 8(2) of the Insurance Brokers (Registration) Act 1977 are hereby approved.
