The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 6A of the Gas Act 1986( 1 ), and after consultation with the Director General of Gas Supply, hereby makes the following Order:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Gas Act 1986 (Exemptions) (No. 4) (Amendment) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 30th December 2000.

2. In article 1(2) of the Gas Act 1986 (Exemptions) (No. 4) Order 1996( 2 ) for “31st December 2000” there shall be substituted “1st March 2011”.
