The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 125C(2) of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Enforcement of Warrants (Disclosure of Information) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 8th January 2001.

Specification of relevant public authorities

2. The Secretary of State for Social Security shall be a relevant public authority for the purposes of section 125C of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980 (disclosure of information for enforcing warrants).
