The Secretary of State, in exercise of his powers under section 7(3) of the Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1999( 1 ), hereby makes the following Order—

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1999 (Commencement No. 1) (England and Wales) Order 2000.

Provisions coming into force on 21st March 2000

2. Section 6(1) of and Schedule 2 to the Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1999 shall come into force on 21st March 2000 in so far as they extend to England and Wales.
