The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 6(7) of the Access to Justice Act 1999( 1 ), and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, makes the following Regulations, a draft of which has been laid before and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament:

Citation and commencement

Interpretation

2. In these Regulations, β€œthe Act” means the Access to Justice Act 1999.

3. The following amendments shall be made to Schedule 2 to the Act:

(a) The following shall be inserted at the end of paragraph 2(1):

β€œ (h) the Immigration Appeal Tribunal or before an adjudicator, ” ;

(b) In paragraph 2(2):

(i) in sub-paragraph (b), the words β€œ4 or” shall be deleted; and

(ii) sub-paragraph (c) shall be deleted; and

(c) In paragraph 2(3)(j), the words β€œsection 8 or 11” shall be substituted for β€œsection 1, 2, 8 or 11”.
