The Immigration (Passenger Information) Order 2000

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by paragraph 27B(9) and (10) of Schedule 2 to the Immigration Act 1971( 1 ), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Immigration (Passenger Information) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 28th April 2000.
2. —(1) Subject to paragraph (2), the information listed in the Schedule to this Order is specified for the purposes of paragraph 27B(9) of Schedule 2 to the Immigration Act 1971(definition of “passenger information”).
(2) The information listed in Part II of the Schedule to this Order is so specified only to the extent that it is known to the carrier.

SCHEDULE PASSENGER INFORMATION
PART I INFORMATION RELATING TO A PASSENGER AS GIVEN ON OR SHOWN BY THE PASSENGER'S PASSPORT OR OTHER TRAVEL DOCUMENT
Full name.
Gender.
Date of birth.
Nationality.
The type of travel document held by the passenger and its number.
If the passenger has a United Kingdom visa or other form of United Kingdom entry clearance, its expiry date.
PART II OTHER INFORMATION RELATING TO A PASSENGER
Name as it appears on the passenger’s reservation.
Ticket number.
Date and place of issue of the ticket.
If not the carrier, the identity of the person who made the passenger’s reservation on behalf of the carrier.
Method of payment for the ticket.
Travel itinerary.
Names of all other passengers appearing on the passenger’s reservation.
If the passenger is travelling with a car or other vehicle, the vehicle registration number and, if the vehicle has a trailer, the trailer registration number (if different to the vehicle registration number).
