The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by paragraph 27B(9) and (10) of Schedule 2 to the Immigration Act 1971( 1 ), hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Immigration (Passenger Information) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 28th April 2000.

2. —(1) Subject to paragraph (2), the information listed in the Schedule to this Order is specified for the purposes of paragraph 27B(9) of Schedule 2 to the Immigration Act 1971 (definition of “passenger information”).

(2) The information listed in Part II of the Schedule to this Order is so specified only to the extent that it is known to the carrier.
