The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Secretary of State for Health and the Secretary of State for Wales, acting jointly, in exercise of the power conferred by sections 17(2) and 48(1) of the Food Safety Act 1990( 1 ) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:
Title and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Tetrachloroethylene in Olive Oil (Revocation) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 1st May 2000.
Revocation and amendment
2. —(1)The Tetrachloroethylene in Olive Oil Regulations 1989( 2 ) are hereby revoked.
(2)The Food Safety (Consequential Modifications) (England and Wales) Regulations 1990( 3 ) are hereby amended by omitting the entries relating to the Tetrachloroethylene in Olive Oil Regulations 1989 in Part I of Schedule 1, Part II of Schedule 3, and Schedule 5.
