The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 46(1)( 1 ) of the Financial Services Act 1986( 2 ), hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Financial Services Act 1986 (Exemption) Order 2001 and comes into force on 9th April 2001.

2. Article 3 of the Financial Services Act 1986 (Miscellaneous Exemptions) Order 1995( 3 ) is omitted.
