The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 84 of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988( 1 ), and after consultation with such representative organisations as he thinks fit in accordance with section 88(2) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Owner Liability) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 1st April 2001.

2. In Forms FP1 and FP4 in Schedule 1 to the Road Traffic (Owner Liability) Regulations 2000( 2 ) for the words “Clerk to the Justices” there shall be substituted the words “Chief Executive to the Justices”.

3. The Road Traffic (Owner Liability) (Amendment) Regulations 2001( 3 ) are hereby revoked.
