The Wildlife and Countryside (Isles of Scilly) Order 2001

The Secretary of State, after consultation with the Council of the Isles of Scilly, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 111 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949( 1 ) and section 68 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981( 2 ), hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Wildlife and Countryside (Isles of Scilly) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 12th June 2001.

Amendment of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside (Isles of Scilly) Order 1973

2. In article 3 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside (Isles of Scilly) Order 1973( 3 ), after the words “and the Countryside Act 1968” there is inserted—

(as amended by Part III of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000) ( 4 ) .

Amendment of the Wildlife and Countryside (Isles of Scilly) Order 1983

3. In article 2 of the Wildlife and Countryside (Isles of Scilly) Order 1983( 5 ) after the words “of Part II” there is inserted—

(as amended by Part III of, and Part III of Schedule 16 to, the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 and section 102 of that Act in so far as it relates to Part III of that Schedule) .
