The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, being designated( 1 ) for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972( 2 ) in relation to the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Community, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by that section, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, makes the following Regulations:

Title, commencement and extent

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (No. 7) (Amendment) Regulations 2001; they extend to England and come into force at 6 p.m. on 11th May 2001.

Amendments to the Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (No. 7) Regulations 2001

2. At the end of Regulation 4(3)(b)(ii) of the Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (No. 7) Regulations 2001( 3 ), insert β€œor, in the case of meat from biungulates to which that Directive does not apply, the health mark provided for in Chapter III of Annex I to Council Directive 4 ))”.
