The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred on him by section 9(3) of the Employment Tribunals Act 1996( 1 ), hereby makes the following Order:—

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Employment Tribunals (Increase of Maximum Deposit) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 23rd February 2001.

Increase of Maximum Deposit

2. For the sum specified in section 9(2)(a) of the Employment Tribunals Act 1996, there is substituted the sum of £500.
