1. This Order may be cited as the B1525 (Formerly A16) Trunk Road (Market Deeping/Deeping St. James) (Detrunking) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 1st September 2001.
2. In this Order β
(i) βclassified roadβ | as a classification for a highway, means that the highway is not a principal road for the purposes of enactments or instruments which refer to highways classified as principal roads but is a classified road for the purpose of every enactment and instrument which refers to highways classified by the Secretary of State and which does not specifically refer to their classification as principal roads; and |
(ii) βthe trunk roadβ | means the B1525 (Formerly A16) Trunk Road at Market Deeping/Deeping St. James, in the County of Lincolnshire; and |
(iii) βthe planβ | means the plan, numbered HA 10/PS/282, marked βThe B1525 (Formerly A16) Trunk Road (Market Deeping/Deeping St. James) (Detrunking) Order 2001β, signed by authority of the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions and deposited at DETR Records Management Branch, Ashdown House, Sedlescombe Road North, St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN37 7GA. |
3. The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a classified road from the date on which the Order comes into force.

THE SCHEDULE LENGTH OF THE TRUNK ROAD CEASING TO BE A TRUNK ROAD
The length of the trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is situated between the junction with the A15 County Road and A16 Trunk Road, west of Market Deeping (marked βAβ on the plan) and the junction with the A16 Trunk Road, north of Deeping Common (marked βBβ on the plan), all in the County of Lincolnshire. It is shown by broad black dashes on the plan and is approximately 6km in length
