The Public Telecommunication System Designation (FirstMark Carrier Services (UK) Limited) Order 2001

Whereas the Secretary of State has granted to FirstMark Carrier Services (UK) Limited on 8th January 2001 a licence (“the Licence”) under section 7 of the Telecommunications Act 1984( 1 ) (“the Act”), to which section 8 of the Act applies, for the running of the telecommunication systems specified in the Licence (“the Applicable Systems”):

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 9 of the Act, hereby makes the following Order:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Public Telecommunication System Designation (FirstMark Carrier Services (UK) Limited) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 16th August 2001.

2. Each of the Applicable Systems is hereby designated as a public telecommunication system.
