The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by section 24(13) of the Telecommunications Act 1984( 1 ) hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Telecommunication Meters (Approval Fees) (BABT) (Amendment) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 13th August 2001.

Interpretation

2. In this Orderβ€”

Amendment to the principal Order

3. Article 4(2)(a) of the principal Order is amendedβ€”

(a) in respect of any work carried out by BABT on or after 13th August 2001 in the exercise by it of the function of considering applications for which an application fee may be charged, and

(b) in respect of the exercise by BABT on or after 13th August 2001 of the function of being satisfied that a requirement is being complied with for which a continuation fee may be charged,

by deleting β€œΒ£50.68” and substituting β€œΒ£83.33”.

Revocation

4.Article 3 of the Telecommunication Meters (Approval Fees) (BABT) (Amendment) Order 1994( 3 ) is hereby revoked.
