The Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 25(1), 26, 44(3) and 46(1)( 1 ) of the Dartford-Thurrock Crossing Act 1988( 2 ), hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Dartford-Thurrock Crossing (Amendment) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on the 20th September 2001.

Dangerous Goods

2. In regulation 5 of the Dartford-Thurrock Crossing Regulations 1998 ( 3 ), for the reference to the booklet entitled “Dangerous Traffic”, 9th edition issued in 1997, there shall be substituted a reference to the 11th edition of that booklet issued in 2001.
