The Electricity Act 1989 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2001

16th October 2001

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 113(2) of the Electricity Act 1989( 1 ), hereby makes the following Order:β€”

1. β€”(1) This Order may be cited as the Electricity Act 1989 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2001.

(2) In this Order β€œthe Act” means the Electricity Act 1989.

2. The following provisions of the Electricity Act 1989 shall come into force on 9th November 2001β€”

(a) section 112(4) to the extent that it relates to the provisions in Schedule 18 which are not already in force; and

(b) paragraph 3(b) of Schedule 17 and the word β€œand” immediately preceding it; and

(c) Schedule 18, so far as not already in force.
