M1,M2 The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, being designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Community, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by that section, and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, makes the following Regulations:

Title, commencement, extent and cessation

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (No. 10) (Fees) Regulations 2001; they extend to England and come into force at 1.00pm on 30th October 2001.

(2) These Regulations shall apply until midnight on 31st December 2001.

Fees

M3 2. The Food Standards Agency may charge the occupier of any premises at which supervision or inspection is carried out by them for the purposes of establishing the eligibility for dispatch of products under the Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (No. 10) Regulations 2001 a reasonable fee in respect of costs reasonably incurred by them in the exercise of those functions.
