The President of the Council, having been designated by the Treasury as having responsibility for the public service pension schemes referred to in article 2, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 27(3) of the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999( 1 ), hereby makes the following Order:

Title and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Pension Sharing (Excepted Schemes) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 5th March 2001.

Exception of public service pension schemes

2. The public service pension schemes relating to the following offices are excepted:

Revocation

3.The Pension Sharing (Excepted Schemes) Order 2000 is revoked( 2 ).
