The Public Telecommunication System Designation (Sprintlink UK Limited) Order 2001

Whereas the Secretary of State has granted to Sprintlink UK Limited on 10th July 2001 a licence (“the Licence”) under section 7 of the Telecommunications Act 1984( 1 ) (“the Act”), to which section 8 of the Act applies, for the running of the telecommunication systems specified in the Licence (“the Applicable Systems”):

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 9 of the Act, hereby makes the following Order:—

2. Each of the Applicable Systems is hereby designated as a public telecommunication system.
