The Road Vehicles Lighting (Amendment) Regulations 2001

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 41 of the Road Traffic Act 1988( 1 ), and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 195(2) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:β€”

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as The Road Vehicles Lighting (Amendment) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 21st March 2001.

Amendment of regulation 11

2. In regulation 11 of the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989( 2 ), after paragraph (2)(s) there is insertedβ€”

β€œ (sa) reflected blue, yellow and white light from a retro reflective plate displaying a distinguishing sign in accordance with Council Regulation ( EC ) No. 2411/98 3 ) ; ” .
