The Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988 (Firearms Consultative Committee) Order 2002

Coming into force

1st February 2002

In exercise of the power conferred on the Secretary of State by section 22(8) of the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988( 1 ), I hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988 (Firearms Consultative Committee) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 1st February 2002.

2. The Firearms Consultative Committee shall continue to exist for a period of two years beginning on 1st February 2002.

3. The Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988 (Firearms Consultative Committee) Orders 1996( 2 ) and 2000( 3 )are hereby revoked.
