The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 126(3) and (4) of the National Health Service Act 1977( 1 ) and section 5(1) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990( 2 ) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having completed the consultation prescribed under section 5(2) of that latter Act( 3 ), hereby makes the following Order:
Citation, commencement and interpretation
1. β(1) This Order may be cited as the South Buckinghamshire National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 2002 and shall come into force on 1st April 2002.
(2) In this Orderβ
βthe Orderβ means the South Buckinghamshire National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992( 4 );
βthe trustβ means the National Health Servicetrust established by the Order.
Amendment of article 3 of the Order
2. In paragraph (2) of article 3 of the Order (nature and functions of the trust) the words βand community health servicesβ are deleted.
