The Public Telecommunication System Designation (United Networks Limited) Order 2002

Whereas the Secretary of State has granted to United Networks Limited on 29th April 2002 a licence (“the Licence”) under section 7 of the Telecommunications Act 1984( 1 ) (“the Act”), to which section 8 of the Act applies, for the running of the telecommunication systems specified in the Licence (“the Applicable Systems”):

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 9 of the Act, hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Public Telecommunication System Designation (United Networks Limited) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 12th July 2002.

2. Each of the Applicable Systems is hereby designated as a public telecommunication system.
