The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 3(1) of the Gaming (Bingo) Act 1985( 1 ), and after consultation with the Gaming Board for Great Britain, hereby makes the following Regulations:

1. β€”(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Gaming Clubs (Multiple Bingo) (Amendment) Regulations 2002.

(2) These Regulations shall come into force on 12th August 2002.

2. β€”(1) In regulation 2 of the Gaming Clubs (Multiple Bingo) Regulations 1986( 2 ) (number of games of multiple bingo that may be played on any bingo club premises in any period of 24 hours), for β€œthree” there shall be substituted β€œfive”.
