The Superannuation (Admission to Schedule 1 to the Superannuation Act 1972) Order 2002

Citation, commencement and interpretation
1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Superannuation (Admission to Schedule 1 to the Superannuation Act 1972) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 12th August 2002, but shall have effect, where appropriate, from the dates specified in this Order.
(2) In this Order “the Act” means the Superannuation Act 1972.
Employments
2. The following shall be included among the kinds of employment to which a scheme under Section 1 of the Act can apply:
(a) employment by the Arts and Humanities Research Board, with effect from 1st August 2001,
(b) employment by SITPRO Limited, with effect from 1st April 2001,
(c) employment by the National Criminal Intelligence Service Authority, with effect from 1st April 2002,
(d) employment by the National Crime Squad Service Authority, with effect from 1st April 2002,
(e) employment by the Sector Skills Development Agency, with effect from 1st April 2002,
and accordingly, Schedule 1 to the Act is amended by inserting at the appropriate place in the list of “Other Bodies”, the entries—
“the Arts and Humanities Research Board.”
“SITPRO Limited.”
“the National Criminal Intelligence Service Authority.”
“the National Crime Squad Service Authority.”
“the Sector Skills Development Agency.”
Offices
3. The following office shall be included among the offices to which a scheme under section 1 of the Act can apply:
the Chairman of the Forestry Commission, with effect from 1st December 2001
and accordingly Schedule 1 to the Act is amended by inserting at the appropriate place in the list of “Offices”, the entry—
“the Chairman of the Forestry Commission.”
Removal from Schedule 1
1. The following entry is hereby removed from Schedule 1 to the Act:
in the list of “Other Bodies”, the entry—
“the Local Government Commission.”
