The Commissioners of Customs and Excise, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by paragraph 6 of Schedule 4 to the Finance Act 2001( 1 ), and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Aggregates Levy (Registration and Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 and come into force on 15th August 2002.

2. The Aggregates Levy (Registration and Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 2001( 2 ) are amended as follows.

3. In regulation 3, omit paragraph (2).
