The Terrorism Act 2000 (Cessation of Effect of Section 76) Order 2002

Whereas a draft of this Order has been approved by resolution of each House of Parliament;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 112(2)(b) of the Terrorism Act 2000( 1 ), the Secretary of State hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Terrorism Act 2000 (Cessation of Effect of section 76) Order 2002 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

2. Section 76( 2 ) of the Terrorism Act 2000 (admission in trial on indictment) shall cease to have effect.
