In exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 30(2) of the Education Act 2002( 1 ), the Secretary of State for Education and Skills hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation, commencement and interpretation

1. β€”(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Governors' Annual Reports) (England) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 2nd October 2002.

(2) In these Regulations, β€œthe principal Regulations” means the Education (Governors' Annual Reports) (England) Regulations 1999( 2 ).

Amendment of the principal Regulations

2. After regulation 3 of the principal Regulations the following regulation shall be insertedβ€”

β€œ 3A. The governors' report may be combined with any other document whose preparation by the governing body is required by or under any enactment. ” .
