The Disability Discrimination Codes of Practice (Education) (Appointed Day) Order 2002

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 53A(6)(a) and 67(1) of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995( 1 ), the Secretary of State for Education and Skills hereby makes the following Order:
Citation
1. This Order may be cited as the Disability Discrimination Codes of Practice (Education) (Appointed Day) Order 2002.
Appointed Day
2. The day appointed for the coming into effect of the Codes of Practice specified in the Schedule (copies of which were laid before Parliament on 23rd May 2002 and which were issued by the Disability Rights Commission on 8th July 2002) is 1st September 2002.
