The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in pursuance of sections 4(1) and (4) of the School Inspections Act 1996( 1 ), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Education (Chief Inspector of Education and Training in Wales) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 1st June 2002.

2. Miss Susan Lewis is hereby re-appointed Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Education and Training in Wales for a period of five years commencing on 1st June 2002.

3. The Education (Chief Inspector of Schools in Wales) Order 1997( 2 ) is hereby revoked.

1996 c. 57 . The title of the Chief Inspector was changed from the Chief Inspector of Schools in Wales to the Chief Inspector of Education and Training in Wales by section 73 of the Learning and Skills Act 2000 (c. 21)
