The Asylum Support (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2002

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 166(3) of, and paragraph 3(a) of Schedule 8 to, the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999( 1 ), hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Asylum Support (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 11th November 2002.

Amendment of regulation 10(2) of the Asylum Support Regulations 2000

2. In the Table in regulation 10(2) of the Asylum Support Regulations 2000( 2 ) (kind and levels of support for essential living needs), in the second column, opposite the entry in the first column relating to a person aged under 16, for the amount “£33.50” there shall be substituted the amount “£37.00”.

Revocation of the Asylum Support (Amendment) Regulations 2000

3.The Asylum Support (Amendment) Regulations 2000( 3 ) are hereby revoked.
