The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 45(1)( 1 ), 57(1) and 58(1) of the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995( 2 ), and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 57(12) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 1st December 2002.

2. The Schedule to the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) (Fees) Regulations 1995( 3 ) shall be amended by substituting:

(a) in fee number (i) “£168” for “£160”;

(b) in fees numbers (ii) and (iii) “£263” for “£250”;

(c) in fee number (iv) “£44” for “£42”;

(d) in fees numbers (v) and (vi) “£7.25” for “£7”; and

(e) in fees number (v) and (vi) “£9” for “£8.50”.
