The Homelessness Act 2002 (Commencement No. 3) (England) Order 2002

4th December 2002

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 20(1) of the Homelessness Act 2002( 1 ) hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and extent

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Homelessness Act 2002 (Commencement No. 3) (England) Order 2002.

(2) This Order extends to England only.

Commencement

2. Section 14 of the Homelessness Act 2002 shall come into force, in so far as it confers powers to make regulation, on 5th December 2002.

3. The following provisions of the Homelessness Act 2002 shall come into force on 31st January 2003—

2002 c. 7 . The powers conferred by section 20(1) are exercisable as respects Wales by the National Assembly for Wales ( see section 20(3) of the Homelessness Act 2002).
