The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 3 of the Crown Office Act 1877( 1 ), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Crown Office (Forms and Proclamations Rules) (Amendment) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 27th January 2003.

Form of Writs of Summons

2. Form A in Part I of the Schedule to the Crown Office (Forms and Proclamations Rules) Order 1992 ( 2 ) (Form of Writs of Summons issued to Lords Spiritual) is amended by substituting for the words “Prelates Great Men and Peers” in both places where they occur the words “Prelates Great Men Great Women and Peers”.
