The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 708(1) and (2) of the Companies Act 1985( 1 ), and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Companies (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2002, and shall come into force on 1st April 2002.

2. The Schedule to the Companies (Fees) Regulations 1991( 2 ) is amended by:

(a) substituting, in respect of the entries in the first column below, the sums set out below in relation to those entries for the sums specified in relation to those entries in the second column of the Schedule to those Regulations as follows:

(i) entry 4 £9.00
(ii) entry 5 £9.00
(iii) entry 9(a) £9.00
(iv) entry 9(b) £12.00
(v) entry 9(c) £12.00
(vi) entry 10(a) £9.00
(vii) entry 10(b) £12.00
(viii) entry 10(c) £12.00
(ix) entry 11(a) £12.50
(x) entry 11(b) £15.50
(xi) entry 12(b) £9.00 plus £1.00 for each document supplied
