The Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limits) Order 2002

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 175(1) and (3) of, and paragraph 4(5) of Schedule 7 to, the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992( 1 ), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limits) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 8th April 2002.

Increase of earnings limits in respect of dependent children

2. In paragraph 4 of Schedule 7( 2 ) to the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992, in paragraphs (a) and (b) of sub-paragraph (4), for the amount of £150 there shall be substituted the amount of £155.
